I'm Back

It is Wednesday evening October 29th and I am FINALLY working on my website again. I feel like I owe you all an explanation as to why I stopped journaling. One of Murphy's famous maxims goes something like, "When you're up to your rear end in alligators, it is hard to remember your original intent was to drain the swamp." Well, I was nearly drowned and eaten in remodeling/construction projects around the house this summer. There were many unforseen problems. I have no desire to go into all of that but the good news is that we're close to putting our house back together and it now features new windows, a large sunroom complete with an Endless Swimming Pool, a remodeled den and a finished recording studio. We also removed a leaky non-functioning fireplace and chimney. There are still a few things that aren't quite complete but none of them require constant work like they did for the past few months. I have pictures that I'll try to get posted Thursday.

I'm anxious to get back to being a musician again. There's a lot more to tell you regarding progress of current recording projects, the upcoming Yanni tour, yes - I'll be there, festivals, upcoming gigs, etc. I hope you'll spread the word that my web site is back! More tomorrow! - Dan ¶ 12:51 PM
