One down . . .
I got some good news a couple of days ago in the form of an email confirmation that someone in New York had just purchased one of my CDs. Now I'm accustomed to selling CDs all over the country, but the note said that he had just heard one of my songs, "Spring Peepers", on NPR during their program "All Things Considered" and looked me up on the web. Many of you may know that I used to manage a public radio station, WSMC in Chattanooga. One of my duties was hosting NPR's Morning Edition. As my music career grew, one of my goals was to get my music played nationally by NPR. It is really welcome news that this has finally happened. You can find out about many other musicians that write great music but don't have a ghost of a chance of making it in the pop music industry by perusing NPR's "All Songs Considered" web site at: http://www.allsongsconsidered.org.
