Pelted
I needed some computer supplies this afternoon so I decided to combine exercise and shopping. The nearest CompUsa was about three miles away so I happily set off on foot for what I new would be a brisk hike. The weather was a bit questionable but patches of blue were appearing here and there as I left. I made it to the store, bought my goods and found a place to rest and have a small snack. I waited a bit too long. As I started back, the sky turned dark gray and began to pelt me with small hail. It only lasted about 15 minutes and I was sorry that I didn't have my camera. It was a little humorous to think that here I am in the desert being hit with pieces of ice when back home in Chattanooga it was sunny and near 70 degrees.
