South Boston

Yes, I need to get back to work on my web site and open the pages of this journal again. Here goes.

Angie and I are lakeside in Clarksville, Virginia this morning after a successful concert last night in South Boston. The venue was the centuries old South Boston Presbyterian Church where Dr. Russell Lee is pastor. The concert was organized by Don Woodward of Colonial Homes.

I met Russell and his wife Marilyn, along with Don and Carol Woodward this past July after a performance in Montreat North Carolina. Don asked then if I'd be willing to come play in southern Virginia and then quickly followed through with making all the arrangements. Thanks Don. We had an incredible time and judging from the turnout and audience response everyone went home happy. I hope we can come back, perhaps with 'Hammer On!' and do a concert in South Boston's new theatre at The Prizery.

We have some pictures that we'll post after we get back to Tennessee. Right now it is time to begin the 8 hour drive.

Dan
Comments:
Nice to see you again.

Your site was perhaps the last straw in persuading me to move some of my blog to my dulcimer site. I'm still tweaking, but pretty happy so far.
