Getting Anxious?

All Winter Mix orders that came in before late yesterday afternoon are now in the hands of UPS and the U.S. Postal Service. We didn't get this first rush out as quickly as we'd hoped but it certainly wasn't for a lack of trying. In the scheme of things the extra couple of days won't mean anything and we're in a position now to fulfill small orders on a same day basis again. Thanks for your orders and your patience!

What is this Winter Mix? It is my new Christmas CD and you can hear a two minute demo by clicking here. You can order your copy, or copies if you're working a Christmas list, by clicking the store link above. We're happy to sign, gift wrap and mail CDs anywhere in the US. Just send me the address(es) to which you'd like them sent and tell me how you'd like them signed.

Please let me know what you think about the look and feel of the CD and packaging and after you've had a chance to give it a listen, drop me an email with your comments please. Here's a couple I've already received:

" I LOVE the CD-- (notice the capital letters and bold face print). It’s my current favorite for holiday tunes because it’s an eclectic mix of cultural sounds, plus it presents familiar songs in different ways. I usually dread hearing holiday music, especially in the mall, not only because malls and mall music emphasize the commercialism of Christmas, at least in my opinion, but because too often holiday tune renditions sound like a tired offering of “more of “same.” Your CD is very energizing. For example, I felt like dancing to “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.” I’ve decided that I shouldn’t play it while making beads over the torch because it’s hard for me to sit still while listening to this “moving” collection. Thank you very, very much for the CD. " SP

"ok, got the pre-release CD...
i'm going through it and each one becomes my new favorite.
absolutely amazing." SWB

Hi Dan,

My name is Corbin Keep, I'm a cellist/singer-songwriter from Vancouver, BC. I read with interest one of your blogs about being on tour and how few hammer dulcimer players you encountered. I am in the process of attempting to track down a HD player to collaborate with. I'm wondering, have you met anyone along the way who lives in the Pacific NW (WA or BC) who plays (& pref sings) who is into stuff other than (or in addition to) traditional music? Thanks!
