WOW, what beautiful uplifting music! My copy of “Winter Mix” just blew me away. Thanks for showing what the hammered dulcimer is capable of in the hands of an artist.

I get so sick of hearing the same old Xmas music...this CD is such a welcome change..I'm usually bah humbug this time of year, but when I played this CD, I immediately started decorating for the holidays. It really gets you in the holiday spirit! I LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Ok Dan, I have an additional 2 cents to add regarding your new Winter Mix cd! Of course you know that we already LOVE it! But, I have to tell you that my kids(age6 and7) made me play the "horsey song" 4 times while driving them to school this morning! And I'm not even tired of it! My Dad basically had the same reaction as Louise, he really didn't like the holiday music because it was "ho hum" and all the same. But your cd he really enjoyed! So, I will be ordering a few more cd's from you in the near future for gifts! I may need another one for me! We seem to be playing the one we have to death! Were going to wear the poor thing out! Ha! Take Care!

The first time I heard Dan's version of "Sleigh Ride", I was driving. The horse at the beginning scared me and my wife nearly to death. We were not paying attention to the track listing. So beware when driving!

It is tough for me not to keep repeating the first track. Such a cool take on an old song.

I bought other Christmas CDs this year and they have not been played once since I got Dan's CD, most notably Brian Wilson's Christmas (boring - a crime after his brilliant "Smile"). Try playing Dan's and not smile. It can't be done.
