Festival Hotel Info

Dan and I are working on the Festival website this weekend. I thought I'd give you this hotel information now, for those of you planning ahead.

We’ve got an arrangement with the Courtyard by Marriott for Thursday through Saturday nights for $119 (regularly $159). You can stay Sunday night for $99. Just tell them you’re with the Dulcimer Festival when you make your reservation. This hotel is right across the street from the Tennessee Aquarium. Great location! Click here to visit their website.

Dan is almost finished mastering the new CD he recorded with Stephen Humphries. It sounds great and should be available within a week. He plans on having some to sell at the Augusta Heritage Festival, which is the first week in April.

Well, you already know I need one of those new cd's!!!! We still listen to Stephen's cd from last years festival! Can't wait to get my hands on one! Now we can get REALLY excited about this summer! I will be making reservations real soon! Peace out!

Thanks for the update Angie. Do you know what the cost of the festival is yet?

I'm greatly looking forward to Stephen and Dan's album.

Well Dan, this blog is beginning to look a little amish! You've got a Yoder and a Miller! tee hee! I'm keeping my fingers crossed...I may have a lady I work with interested in coming to your festival! The more the merrier! Making our reservations this week!!!

Amish indeed :-) It'll take me three days with the buggy ride down from Chicago. Whew!! That horse will be tired.

The great thing about taking trips in buggy's is that I can play dulcimer while the horse leads the way. No need keeping your hands on the wheel.
