In the Studio
Dan is in the studio this week helping Mark Wade record a new project which will a be a solo CD of romantic classical ballads. Look for it on Mark's website in 6 weeks or so.http://www.markalanwade.com
Dan's been busy street performing at the Aquarium every weekend this summer. Coming up September 9-11, we'll be in Shephardstown, WV for the Upper Potomac Dulcimer Festival. All the guys from the Hammer On! band will be there teaching workshops and performing in the Saturday night concert.
October 9 Dan and I will be in South Boston, VA where he'll play at the First Presbyterian Church. We'd like to book another gig in the area, or between Chattanooga and Clarksville, if anyone has any ideas-email me. angie@danlandrum.com
We're also planning a trip to Florida in January 2006. If you'd like to arrange a concert or workshop, just drop me a line.
The store link on the website is working now, by the way. The photographs link is next on the list.
Keep checking back!
Angie

Jukebox
My jukebox is now working properly with the exception that it starts to play as soon as the site is loaded. It always annoys me when an audio file starts playing without be instructed to do so. I'm sure there's a way to make it wait for a specific user action. It will have to wait until tomorrow though.Stop, stop, stop!
I continue to push the rock (this web site redesign) up the hill (CSS, HTML, Java, SWF, FLA) with the latest major accomplishment being the new CD player at the right hand side of the screen. The only problem is I'm having trouble getting the stop button to work! I'll figure it out, but please forgive me in the mean time.Dan

Google Site Search Success
I was able to get Google's site search engine working last night. It will be a welcome element to this web site since my tour journal is quite long, and finding specific events is becoming increasingly difficult. This makes it a snap.Getting Flashy
No, the site still isn't working. I just feel obligated to keep posting these notes so it will at least appear that progress is still being made. If you're stopping by here in hopes of purchasing a CD, please drop me a note to:dan@danlandrum.com
I'll get back with you quickly.
This morning I'm working on the mast head for this page. I enjoyed having the Chattanooga Dulcimer Festival moving train at the top of the page for a while. About three years ago this site had some interactive sounds on the home page too that people told me they enjoyed. I'm playing around with a few ideas those elements. Check back periodically and there may be a beta version of the new mast head in place.
Thanks for your patience - Dan

Still working
I'm making slow but steady progress with the web update.
My daughter Missy turned 18 over the weekend and got a new camera for her birthday. She took this picture of me at the computer this evening.
I don't think I'll finish with the project tonight but at least I can see it coming together. I'm adding a jukebox to the right hand side bar so visitors can sample my music anywhere within the site.
